About Matt

There is no telling what challenges life might throw our way. Whether they land in our relationships, our families, our health, our community, or somewhere we never expected, one thing stays true: you are not alone. Life is hard, and it is through connection with others that we find our greatest strength.

I work with families, couples, and individuals to find connection with one another and to build resilience for life's many demands. No matter who I sit across from in the therapy room, I consider the way we relate to one another to be the most important variable. The need for connection is hardwired within each of us, and it is through meaningful relationships that we find our most powerful resource for change.

It takes a lot of courage to reach out to a stranger and ask for help, and I am grateful for your trust. I will honor that trust by reserving judgment and fully accepting where you are today, along with a commitment to join you in reaching the changes you are seeking. I practice as a marriage and family therapy intern under the supervision of Mackenzie Benson, LMFT.
